In December of 2015, Kinematic installed a 113 kW Solar System to power both our manufacturing facility and our office building. The system generates all the power required to run both buildings. The system consists of 330 solar panels and 5 inverters and the various equipment needed to go along with those major components. We wanted to both, reduce our carbon footprint, and reduce our electrical expenses over the life of the system. We've accomplished that goal, and will continue to look at, evaluate, and invest in other technologies that save resources and further reduce negative impacts to the environment.
